Richard
& Kathy Cavanaugh, from New Jersey, came on their honeymoon to
the Manchebo Beach Resort in 1978. They have pictures reminding them of
the late 70s experience. The honeymoon snapshots feature Kathy wearing
a black cat suit with a plunging neckline. Richard has an open
white shirt with pointed collar tips on under his coat, no tie.
They had a fabulous time visiting the Bali pier, the natural beach. The
island was very different then, they agree. The Cavanaugh's returned in
1988 for their 10th anniversary. Manchebo was again their vacation
destination. Monday, they renewed their marriage vows in the beach
pavilion, on the eve of their 23rd wedding anniversary. Richard whose
health is somewhat delicate didn't want to wait till their 25th
anniversary, he wanted to go back to Aruba this year. Reverend Stigter
was on hand to perform the ceremony. We are in love, just as
the day we met, the Cavanaugh's declared, we are always there for each
other. Pictured here is the couple and some of their pictures |
